Quarantining Mother Hurt After Neighbor Tells Her To Keep Toddler Quiet
And as it is the things were pretty rough, when their neighbor decided to add to their troubles by sliding in a note asking her to keep her little one shut. The lady named Lauren McCabe was ordered by her next-door resident to reduce the noise her kid was making as it troubled and woke up the people in the neighborhood. Lauren who is a freelance makeup artist has a lot on her plate given her asthma and low immunity due to a recent attack of herpes zoster.
To be précised the letter in that was slipped in through her apartment’s door mentioned that it was understandable how tough it must be to keep a little kid entertained in a closed home but she should still try and avoid making him run loudly all across as it was disturbing the neighborhood. The person had particular complaints about the morning time when the noises were unbearable due to the little kid being cranky.
Sarah Burgess, Lauren’s mother in her interview mentioned that although she has not been able to meet her daughter, she one day called her crying, asking how was it even possible to keep a baby shush. Sadly, the sender did not bother doing a cross-check before sliding the note. According to Sarah, Leo is a regular toddler who is not noisy or clumsy at all and is rather easy to calm down.

The mother who was devastated with such accusation decided to write back on her son’s behalf. It read that the little kid no longer gets to go to school and meet his regular people. Additionally, his mother has been keeping unwell and since the doctors say that they have to stay indoors, he does not have much of a choice than to play indoor and keep his happy self alive.
She also added that dancing and playing around the house or with the toys was the only source she could think of, to keep Leo entertained, given her medical condition. Not only this, she even apologized to the sender, adding that Leo wishes for things to go back to normal as soon as possible.
Sarah is helping the family in whatever ways possible, such as buying groceries, food, etc. The only time she gets to see them both is when she sits in front of their building for a few minutes every evening.
It breaks our hearts to see such struggle, but we hope the family comes out of it soon and stronger, and also that the neighbor turns a bit considerate.
