Parents Created At Home Restaurant For Heartbroken Kids
Both the parents were quite helpless when their children Evan and Lucas expressed their wish to go to a restaurant. They found it quite hard and challenging to explain their little tots about the pandemic coronavirus and its adverse effects causing a whole lockdown everywhere as they could not understand. They refused them with a heavy heart and said that they could not go out for a meal. However, they came up with a brilliant way to take heart broken kids to a restaurant in lockdown.
Callum and Clare-Marie came out this situation of predicament by bringing the restaurant at home itself. They transformed their kitchen and dining room into a restaurant where Clare-Marie was the waitress and Callum being the chef. The whole setup was exactly the same as a restaurant. Both the children came walking down their front garden path and were welcomed by Clare-Marie into their makeshift restaurant. Following this, she introduced her guests to the head chef, Callum and proceeded to take orders from them.

A glass of apple and blackcurrant wine from the Robinsons reserve was served to each boy along with soft drinks. Moving on, they serve them crunchy nachos made by the head chef and both the boys enjoyed it very much. One of them stated the nachos to be “Very good” and the other “The best”. For the main course, Quesadillas alongside a ‘special Heinz salsa’ was given and finally, a strawberry ice lolly and mint choc chip and vanilla ice cream were last on the menu. Fortunately, their idea worked quite well and both the kids enjoyed their meal very much.
Lastly, their evening ended up with Clare-Marie bringing them the bill which was obviously on the parents. Callum shared the video on his Facebook account captioning it as “So during this pandemic, Evan and Lucas wanted to go to a restaurant, they don’t quite understand why they can’t- so, the rest is history”.
The post received two million views and over 50,000 shares and thousands of comments. One person called their wonderful idea as “priceless”. Another applauded their beautiful idea and its perfect execution. The third user admired the parents and the little boys calling them adorable. Finally, one of the users joked and presented his wish to come to this restaurant asking if it was also for public.
