Parenting has always topped the charts of complex tasks. Parents toil hard day and night to match up with ever-growing demands and desires of their little parts. Sometimes they have to break the limits to bring cheers to their nuggets. A mother named Kristen Schroder is setting an example of an ideal parent in the world of parenthood.

The 35-year-old woman juggles with the needs and wants of her seven kids. They are under the age of eight and none of them is a twin. The powerful mother goes around doing the chores and meeting up her parental commitment by looking after the budding souls all at the same time.

Adding to the big platter of responsibility, the woman has picked up the trend of homeschooling for her children. Her homeschooling spree has attained the age of four. She sees the power of homeschooling circumventing the barriers of time and efficiency. According to her, it has helped her to take the learning sessions of her kids beyond the bookish frontiers. Kristen makes the full of the opportunity by letting her kids know the beauty of relationship and ethics. She tries to make the session more and more interactive by making the study schedule flexible.

The mother of seven feels that 1-3 hours of study are ample to meet academic commitments. Also, the flexibility of the schedule helps the kids to mingle with the dear ones and explore the obscured facets of human life. Adding to her power, her husband- Bryan stands up to hail and support her thoughts.

The super-mother is inspiring the parental nerves of others around the world by sharing her experience and pouring out advice on her Instagram page. She enjoys a huge fan following by having 142000 followers on her list. With the winds of lockdown sweeping the alleys around the world, the mother has suggested her other counterparts to try out the power of homeschooling.

Shedding some light on the extent of efficacy and flexibility of homeschooling, she said, “We can home-school when and where we want to. We can move through the curriculum as fast or slow as we want to. If the kids decide they are really interested in something mid-year, we can add in a unit of study at the time that they are actually interested in it and will retain what they learn. If we have friends or family visiting from out of town, we can set the school work aside and work on relationships. These are far more important than book-learning anyway”.

Homeschooling thus may become a nascent trend marking the impact of the lockdown period on human lives.
