Mom Forced To Leave Her Job Because Of Her 3-Year-Old’s Behavior
One fine day, a mother named Joanne appeared on 5Star’s show Britain’s Naughtiest Nursery alongside her daughter named Lottie, who is a 3-year-old toddler. The show’s concept is basically based upon an insight into a child’s inner mind realm and the complex psychology behind the way they behave.
As far as Lottie’s little mind is concerned, as per her mother’s analysis, this little devil is a ‘danger to herself’ because she loves to go climbing on things and sprinting out into the road. If we think carefully, these ‘climbing adventures cum stunts’ of this little girl can surely land her in some trouble, if not stopped!
Little Lottie has a big mouth and this can be clearly seen in her bad habit of using the ‘F’ word regularly and flipping the bird at her ma’am. Lottie was rusticated out of her nursery school, meaning that an upset mom of hers had to stop working in order to spend her days keeping a watch on her ‘daredevil’ daughter.
Viewers of the show were seriously shaken out of their wits at Lottie’s behavior, but many did praise the patience shown by the nursery staff when dealing with her. One viewer said: “You are so patient and creative in your approach with the children. I have been watching for hints and tips.”

However, not everyone was that convinced. In fact, a lot of viewers were outraged at some of the parenting on show. One angered observer said: “OK, ‘you can have the ice cream if you promise me you choose something to eat from the chip shop later’ – where do I even start with that?”
Joanne told the nursery staff from the show that Lottie has a fascination with climbing on stuff such as chairs, window ledges, kitchen sinks and even the washing machine.
She said: “I can’t look anywhere else; I need eyes all around her. She doesn’t care about consequences, you can take her away from the situation, and she’ll just go back and do exactly the same,”
Lottie has already had the heave ho from one nursery for her non-acceptable behavior. Joanne continued: “I was getting called to pick Lottie up maybe once, twice, three times a week. You think, ‘What have I done wrong?’ I’m absolutely exhausted with it all.”
Child psychologist Laverne Antrobus said: “It seems to be a real struggle to get to what it is that’s driving her. Lottie enjoys quite a thrill from climbing and exploring in this way, but she also enjoys the reaction that adults give her. I guess her sense of danger and understanding of risks is not quite there yet.”
