She assigned the homework to her son-Bryce while she went to the kitchen to complete the preparations for their supper. Little did she know that this nine-year old lad would be using all his mind not for solving the sums but to get them solved readymade using Amazon’s A.I. assistant. As soon as she learned about her son Bryce’s trick, she recorded the whole scene in her video camera and posted it online, even letting the viewers to enjoy it and have a laugh over the kid’s hilarious ploy.

It all started when Leanne was in the kitchen cooking their dinner .Suddenly, she heard the voice of Alexa saying something in the living room where Bryce’s was doing his homework. She stood mouth-gapped after spotting her son doing the “the cheating thing”. She caught him red-handed. She instantly took her video camera out and started recording his trickery, so that he did not deny it. Leanne being a mother had shown mixed expressions of amazement, anger and laughter as it seemed a bit cute though.

While recording the video, Bryce kept on asking Alexa questions like, “Alexa! Eight multiplied by four” and “Alexa, six times six”. On the spur of the moment, Leanne asked, “What is going on here?” The kiddie got shocked on getting caught and with his most heavenly and cute smile replied back to his mother that he was just doing his homework. Despite of getting exposed, he did not stop asking questions to Alexa. All this made Leanne a bit angry and going into her mum mode, she stated that, “No, that is not how you do homework and You will be doing all this again yourself”.

Bryce’s reaction left an impact on Leanne’s mind and she posted this video on Facebook captioning it as fantastic effort and giving 10/10 score for his cleverness, also showing her disbelief at the young lad’s cleverness. The video captured two million views and nearly 20,000 reactions. The reactions were a complete mix as some appreciated Bryce’s way of using Alexa in such a different manner while others stated it as an inappropriate way to complete homework.

Some of the users also pointed out that the child had been so brave to repeat his mistake even in the presence of his mother. To which, Leanne responded that she made him do all his homework again teaching him a lesson. Also she mentioned that his teachers had been giving good response on the Parent’s teachers meet about Bryce’s academic performance.
