Infants Dressed Up As Pickles For A Food Festival By A Hospital
This story is all about babies dressed up in tiny handmade cute costumes looking more and more adorable that anyone would want to gobble them up. That staff at UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania dressed the infants in tiny pickle handmade costumes and there is nothing cuter than it. The hospital particularly to dress the infants in pickle costumes because it was the city’s fourth annual Picklesburgh event, not just an event an award-winning food festival about pickles thus the cute pickle costumes.
This is the first time that the hospital decided to involve the infants in the award-winning food festival. But after getting such a great response from the public, surely, this would be done every year from now. Every infant was given a green knitted cap and blanket which the maternity ward nurses knitted. Every nurse put in some extra hours after their shifts to make it happen which was loved by everyone.
These newborns freshly dill-ivered at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital were dressed up as their mothers’ favorite pregnancy craving: pickles — to celebrate Picklesburgh returning to Pittsburgh this weekend.

Pickles are what the mothers crave the most after their deliveries according to a study, thus another reason the babies were dressed in green knitted caps and blankets. All the infants were wearing special onesies which had special dill-every written on it. Yes, you guessed it right it meant special delivery. The event was open to a handful of selected media persons and they did a photo shoot of the infants in a decorated room with pickle balloons.
The hospital indulges in these type of costume events with babies regularly according to the statement made by the UPMC spokesperson Amy Charles. The hospital has a strong history when it comes to infants and dressing them in handmade costumes. The hospital once had an ugly Christmas sweater party and dressed all the infants in sweaters. Then they always have a photo-shoot of the events they throw. Patients wish that they deliver during an event to get their infant’s first photo-shoot and costume party at the same time.
Though it was the first Picklesburgh event, it was a major hit and everybody loved it. People could not stop gushing over the adorable pictures that were shared from the photo-shoot. They tagged their pregnant friends and demanded to deliver their babies during Picklesburgh event only. The rest of the day of the event was also an absolute hit and full of fun.
