In True Christmas Spirit, Santa Fulfils The Kid’s ‘Father Coming Back Early’ Wish
A year back we had been flooded with the Try Not To Cry challenge videos on YouTube. These challenges were basically compilations of some heart touching videos and animated clips which aimed to strike the chords and make you tear up.
One of the most featured stories in these videos were the soldiers returning and surprising their families. These were the stories which struck each and everyone’s heart and tore up the toughest. These stories are heartwarming and bring satisfaction of seeing someone somewhere meeting their beloved from whom they have been away for long.
The boys Jax and Jason aged five and seven had gone to the mall to meet Santa Claus. Santa Claus had asked them what they wanted. They very innocently asked for their deployed father to come home early for Christmas. The two had no idea what was in store for them and the huge surprise they were getting.
Santa always knows what you want for #Christmas! For Jase and Jaxson, all they wanted was their dad, Petty Officer First Class Caleb Taylor. Taylor popped out of a present with the help of #Santa. He had been deployed for the last 8 months! @BN9 @MyNews13 @westfieldcitruspark pic.twitter.com/0xUCqIbp3s

Santa Claus then pointed to the very large gift box placed inconspicuously behind the Christmas gift. They unwrapped the gift paper and opened it and boom! There was their father in the box. The kids ran up to him crying and hugged him. The crowd cheered on the family reunion.
The very emotional dad quoted this moment as “Priceless” and the two teary eyed and sobbing kids later told the local news channel that they knew that Santa Claus would fulfil their wish and also quoted the day as the “Best Day Ever”. Their dad had come home after a whopping 8 months of being deployed away from his home and this way of arriving back was least to say ‘epic’.
This story is amongst many other stories that rock the internet. We all know what is in store in these videos, even after that we keep on seeing them and keep tearing up. What is in these videos which makes us look at them all time and still come back to them? It’s the satisfaction of seeing some other family being united with their loved one after so long and the colossal mess of emotions which are felt by the united families that keeps us hooked to these clips.
