Girl Makes A Powerpoint Presentation To Convince Her Parents To Get Her A Pet Cat
She even promised to take up the cat’s responsibilities of cleaning the litter box, etc. She also stated that she had done full 5-year research on cats and was ready to take up all the responsibilities of petting one.
The daughter’s efforts of making a presentation impressed the father. He posted this on twitter. The tweet quickly gained popularity and the story went viral. Daughter used the power of the internet to further make arguments in her favor and convince her family to get a cat.
The tweet by Christopher included pictures of his daughter’s presentations which consisted of “pros of getting a cat”. One of the slides also mentioned that Cristopher had promised her a hamster 5 years ago, which never came through but the cat should come home. She included a cute picture of a kitten with a “thank you” message at the end of the presentation.
Twitter was on her side too but dad was still reluctant to get her a cat because her mother was allergic to them. Fortunately, some of the users mentioned breeds of cats that wouldn’t trigger his wife’s allergies.

One of the users, Jennifer Layn, tweeted that cats were great for teaching diversity. She mentioned that black cats were the last to get adopted due to their association with bad luck. She suggested the family get a black cat so that she could further educate people about the false superstition.
Barney, a user itself, tweeted replying to Christopher that the presentation was solid and she should have added a brand logo to it. This wouldn’t have got huge brands to be on board but the brand recognition would get more internet fame and it would be easier for her to seal the cat’s deal.
Another user, Salma, tweeted about her cat being hypoallergenic, breeds which did not trigger allergies in people who were allergic to animals, cats specifically. She also added their new kitten, Kimchee’s photos to the post. Then there was Christine who posted a picture of her cat and wrote that the kitten got her own lawn chair and didn’t have to roam around in the streets.
Impressed by the daughter’s efforts and persuasion of the internet, Christopher might agree on adopting a cat for the family soon.
