Dad Disappoints At His Very First Kindergarten Drop-Off, May Never Have It Back
Well did you know you could totally make a fool out of yourself and put your child into lifelong trauma? No? Well now you do, say your thanks to Ian Backstrom, husband of author Mary Katherine Backstrom, who runs the popular blog Mom Babble. Mary took to her Facebook account last Wednesday that her husband went to drop their kid to the school and was carrying his usual charm, so far so good but then something happened, Ian who was patiently waiting in the queue for his turn in a fit of something, we do not know what rolled the car over two orange traffic cones.

He at once got out of the vehicle, all shameful whereupon the cops took charge of investigation; the funny part was the cops made the bald man who happens to be a father of two curl down like an army man to get out the stuck cone as an entire gaggle watched him make a fool of himself. However, with the great struggle, he eventually managed to free the most stubborn cone on the planet; but of course, the victory came with a heavy, very heavy price- his reputation!
As he got up he witnessed people coming out of their cars as if some disaster had struck, the only thing here is that he was the one, the disaster! The cone was destroyed into a Harry Potter crumpled sorting hat, which he carefully handed over to the officers at sight and then silently returned to his truck with everyone irked by his act- the cherry on top? His mother-in-law witnessed the whole scene-all of it- and now thinks of him as a doofus, and we all know that this is not something easy to get rid of.
The moral of the story, you ask? Do not worry if your day has been crappy, there’s probably someone out there embarrassing themselves, just like Backstrom who paid a heavy price for his bizarreness that day, let us hope he recovers from the trauma soon!
