Couple Married On ‘ZOOM’ After Their Dream Wedding Got Cancelled
On advice of their pastor the couple gathered their loved ones on the trending video conferencing app – Zoom for the makeshift ceremony. The online ceremony had 300 guests over the internet who took part in the ceremony with full enthusiasm, all maintaining safe social distancing. The singer- actress couldn’t get her chosen wedding gown as the shop closed at the last minute due to lockdown. However, the couple felt that the Zoom ceremony was incredibly special.
They still have to legally tie the knots which has been rearranged in September, for which luckily all of their wedding vendors agreed to without costing extra. They said that even though they didn’t have everyone, it made it more intimate and special. The soon to be bride said that it really drew back the sparklines and extra stuff of the wedding and made it crystal clear what is more important.

Sophie said that even though they had to postpone the official ceremony, they did the zoom thing because they wanted to make the already decide date significant because of all the build up they had from years. Moreover, it was nice for everyone else also to have an online and we got to see all the beautiful faces, she added.
Ben, who works in the University of Sussex said that the online ceremony had a real mix of attendees in terms of what they were wearing. He was sure that even though many of his friends were wearing suits but they sure must be in their football shorts beneath.
Describing the ceremony, the couple said that it was indeed real. Not only this, the couple said that in that moment it felt more important for them to focus on confessing out love. The soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Jackson said their vows and declared their love for each other in their living room and then shared a cake which had their names and the date marked on it.
