A Mother Shared Christmas Hack To Evade Kid’s Demands
Parents walk through every phase of their children’s life. They witness their transformations closely and work hard to deal with them. Parents dig out hard to put down the tantrums of their little nuggets. So did a woman named Kristina Watts who turned all heads around by coming up with a trick to evade the peaking demands of her daughter Emerson.
Christmas was around the corner. Stores were inundating with gift packs, accessories and toys. It was also the time for Kristina Watts to go out for some shopping to set in the mood of festivities. Emerson’s eyes sparked up with joy. She accompanied her mother to the store- Target. The moment they stepped in, Emerson headed to the toys that she wanted her mother to buy for her.
But Kristina was all ready to handle the approaching torrent of her daughter’s demands. No, it was not at all about scolding or crying. She used a unique way to deal with her daughter’s pending tantrums. She asked her daughter to pose with the toys she wanted to have. Then she took out her phone to capture her daughter with the toys. After that, she told her daughter that she would send them to Santa to let him know her Christmas wishes.
Emerson was over the moon to hear that from her mother. She ran around the section and posed happily. The little girl looked at the pictures and gave them a thumb-up. Then she left the store with her mother with a happy heart and with no tantrums. Watts was aesthetic to see her trick work. So she went ahead to present the magical trick to all other parents through her Facebook post on November 17.
Once again my camera roll is FULL of pictures of Emerson with every single thing she wants for Christmas. Why…because…

She posted her daughter’s picture with the toys and wrote, “Once again my camera roll is FULL of pictures of Emerson with every single thing she wants for Christmas”. Adding to that, she said, “Our trips to the store used to be a lot more painful this time of year. Toys are out in full force and of course my kids WANT. IT. ALL”.
Then shedding light on the remedy, she said, “Pause for a second, comment on the thing they’re pointing out, and say, ‘Let’s take a picture with it and send it to Santa so he knows you want it!’” She continued, “you can send it to Santa, grandma, TeeTee, or whoever it is you can pawn it off on. Totally up to you and can be different every time”.
Adding to that, she said, “Magically, Emmie smiles, says cheese, asks to see the picture, then PUTS THE TOY DOWN AND WALKS AWAY. It’s magical. No tears. No tantrums (by either of us). And she forgets about all of them within minutes”.
Facebook users went crazy to see her post. Around 27000 people ended up sharing the post. Also, it received more than 50000 comments from users around the world. One of them said, “Such a good idea!”
Thus, Kristina turned up as the star of the parent’s world with her post.
