The shooting star shimmer in the Northumberland Family’s Picture
A Northumberland family has been winning fame in the Facebook world with their iconic picture. They were out for a show in The Twice Brewed Inn when they decided to take a family picture at Hadrian's Wall. They were posing at their best when a shooting star emerged in the background. To their delight their photographer managed to click it.
It is everyone’s wish to have a perfect family picture that displays lots of love and care. Perfect timing for clicking the perfect picture doesn’t exist. But a family from Northumberland was just in time to click their one shot that took to another level with a natural occurrence. A shooting star photo bombed them at Hadrian’s Wall.
Steve Swan and his partner Redpath traveled from their home in Morpeth to The Twice Brewed Inn with their children Harry (13) and Rose (11). They were all up for an event on Saturday night. Cherishing their night out they adored the aurora display. Then they decided to go for a picture to seal their memories forever. The twinkling stars in the background enhanced the scene to a great extent. Making the best of it they came together to pose as a family. They were looking at the camera when a shooting star emerged in the background.
To their delight the photographer managed to capture it in the picture just in time. They could see the shooting star was flying just over their head at the right moment in the picture. Not only the family but the photographer named Wil Cheung was also over the moon for his iconic click. Wil Cheung is a resident of The Twice Brewed and was capturing the stargazing program. Cherishing his feat to the full he went ahead to put the picture on his Facebook photography page. As expected it managed to rake in thousands of likes for him.
Shedding light on the picture Steve shared “We’d already had a fantastic night stargazing to the south of the pub and then Wil invited us all to go out to the northern side as the aurora was looking so amazing.”
Disclosing their experience Steve said that the family could not believe their eyes when they saw it. Adding to that he said “We couldn’t believe it when we saw the photo - ironically we were the only ones in the group who didn’t get to see the shooting star when it was passing - but we have a pretty special photo which captured the moment forever.”
Taking on how he felt after clicking such an amazing picture Wil shared “I still can’t quite believe the photo caught it so perfectly.”
Sharing further Wil said that to click a photo with such a natural background of the night sky along with a wonderful shooting star passing by the sky at that very moment was unbelievable for him. He added that the family posed at the right time when nature supported it well. Wil agreed that it was the best picture he had taken in his entire lifetime and regarded it as one in a million kind of thing.
Adding to the beauty of the magic moment Steve has to express his gratitude to his mother for booking the event for the family as a Christmas gift. Wil also deserves a token of thanks for being the one to click it. Making the best of the click the family decided to get the picture printed and framed on the wall. Thus the family would be able to relish that moment forever.
